What a retail contract covers.
Front of house and back of house go on the same contract and the same visit, after hours or during the day, whichever suits the shop.
Front of house
Glass, then floor
Shopfront and display glass is cleaned with the tracks, frames and fly screens. Window cleaning can also be booked on its own.
Hard floors go on the rotary machine and carpet on the extractor.
Back of house
Stockroom to staff bathroom
The stockroom, the staff kitchen, the staff bathroom and the office behind the counter run on our published office scope: floors, surfaces, kitchens and bathrooms, bins, high-touch areas and common areas.
It is the same crew and the same visit.
Three stages
How a retail contract starts.
Stage 01
We walk the shop with you
We check the shop against a ten-point checklist, display window to stockroom, and write the scope from what is on your floor. The walkthrough is free.
Stage 02
A deep clean before the routine
The first visit is a deep clean of the floor, the glass and the back of house, and later visits are held to that standard. Further deep cleans are booked quarterly, twice a year or yearly.
Stage 03
The routine, supervised
The regular visits begin and a supervisor checks the work. When the shop changes, the plan changes with it.
